As a full-service general merchandise distributor, we employ and are currently seeking merchandisers to call on supermarkets. Merchandisers are responsible for ordering, stocking and maintaining proper inventory levels of ATA products at customers’ stores.

Merchandisers handle product selection and reordering of items as needed in their assigned route of stores. Merchandisers also stock various products on merchandising strip and J-hooks according to each store’s specifications and needs under ATA’s merchandising program.

Education/Experience
No prior experience or training is required. Merchandising experience is preferred.

Supervisors provide supervision of retail sales merchandisers in a given sales area as needed and report directly to a Lead Supervisor or Territory Manager. They ensure all routes receive the most qualified merchandiser available and that their area stores are serviced according to the assigned frequency. Supervisors help maximize sales in an area and build rapport with store personnel. They perform store audits and provide vacation/open route coverage when necessary. Working cooperatively with other employees and customers of ATA is essential to day-to-day objectives. External contacts include store managers, receivers, department managers and other store personnel. Access to the Internet is a requirement.

Education/Experience
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or a minimum of one year related experience and/or training is required.

Territory managers oversee geographical areas consisting of one or more territories and ensure top quality service and maximum sales at all stores while managing labor costs and expenses. The position also provides oversight of supervisors and retail sales merchandisers in assigned territories and directs the day-to-day responsibilities of supervisors and troubleshooters. Working cooperatively with other employees and customers of ATA is essential to day-to-day objectives. As our Territory Manager, your responsibilities will include hiring, training, handling of timesheets and expense reports with Expense to Sales accountability.  There will be direct contact with retailer Senior Management which will require an individual that is able to sell both the services of our company as well as themselves.  Ability to establish and strengthen our relationship with the retailer is a vital component of this position.  External contacts include the retailer’s district/zone management, store managers, receivers, department managers and other store level personnel.  Territory Managers report directly to the Region Manager.  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Overnight travel, a computer (Outlook, Word & Excel) and fax machine are required. Full compensation package available based on experience.

Bachelor’s (B.A or B.S) degree from four-year college or university or technical school; or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working cooperatively with other employees and customers of ATA is essential to day-to-day objectives. As our Region Manager.  Your responsibilities will include hiring, training, and the overall management of our service to approximately 2,000 stores.  Expense to Sales accountability is a critical component of this position.  There will be direct contact with retailer Senior Management.  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Overnight travel, a computer (Outlook, Word & Excel) and a fax machine are required. Full compensation package that includes 401K, Health, Dental and Vision.
